Scheduled for Oct. 26-29, 2023, the competition will feature big names from the CrossFit community, including reigning Fittest Man on Earth\u00ae <a data-lasso-id=\"381929\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/jeffrey-adler-wins-2023-crossfit-games\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeffrey Adler<\/a> and reigning Fittest Woman on Earth\u00ae <a data-lasso-id=\"381930\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/laura-horvath-wins-2023-crossfit-games\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laura Horvath<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a steadily increasing prize purse currently valued at $1,620,800 providing plenty of motivation, the athletes should be prepared to perform well in Round Rock, Texas. However, the path to a lucrative payday won&#8217;t be easy. CrossFit competitors will get a chance to showcase their skills in a single event on Thursday, Oct. 26. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"event-1-texas-heavy\"><strong>Event 1<\/strong>: Texas Heavy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Presented by GORUCK, the first event will begin at 6 p.m. CDT. Although Rogue did not provide any additional details about &#8220;Texas Heavy,&#8221; based on the sponsor \u2014 GORUCK, known for designing <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/best-weighted-vest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"382109\">weighted vests<\/a>, sandbags, and rucksacks \u2014 it wouldn&#8217;t be a surprise to see a ruck, heavy sand-filled <a data-lasso-id=\"381934\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/best-medicine-ball-exercises\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medicine ball<\/a>, or sand-filled kettlebell incorporated into Event No. 1.  <br><br>The <a data-lasso-id=\"381935\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/2022-crossfit-rogue-invitational-results-justin-medeiros-laura-horvath\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022 Rogue Invitational<\/a> could provide a hint of what&#8217;s in store, as the Texas Trail event required competitors to complete a 4.2-mile run that included 1.2 miles with a ruck. The men had to carry a 30-pound (13.6-kilogram) ruck, with the women utilizing a 20-pound (9.1-kilogram) version. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"day-two-friday-oct-27\">Day Two \u2014 Friday, Oct. 27<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Competitors will have to face two tough challenges on the second day of the 2023 Rogue Invitational. Here&#8217;s a breakdown of each event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"event-2-seat-at-the-bar\"><strong>Event 2<\/strong>: Seat at the Bar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Time will be of the essence when 1 p.m. hits. &#8220;Seat at the Bar&#8221; will test the athletes&#8217; strength and endurance with a simple (but strenuous) workout based around the log muscle-up. Rogue provided the following details about the structure of Event No. 2:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>20-15-10 reps (Men)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15-10-5 reps (Women) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the athletes will have to complete five <a data-lasso-id=\"381936\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/back-squat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">back squats<\/a> after each round, with males working with 375 pounds (170.1 kilograms) and females squatting 260 pounds (118 kilograms). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"event-3-the-circus\"><strong>Event 3<\/strong>: The Circus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once strongman athletes wrap up <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/2023-rogue-strongman-invitational-events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"381937\">The Iron Bull Sled Pull<\/a>, the focus will shift back to CrossFit with an event that makes the <a href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/concept-2-rower-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"381938\">Concept2 RowErg<\/a> the star of the show. &#8220;The Circus&#8221;
