The <a data-lasso-id=\"311312\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/2023-crossfit-games-age-group-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Age Group<\/a> and <a data-lasso-id=\"311313\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/2023-crossfit-games-adaptive-division-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adaptive divisions<\/a> occurred from Aug. to Aug. 3. Meanwhile, the Team Division and what some may consider the main attractions of the Games \u2014 the Individual Men and Individual Women divisions \u2014 began Aug. 3 and crowned their respective become the third-ever three-time Mens winner, but after troublesome events on <a data-lasso-id=\"313140\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/justin-medeiros-event-1-ride-explain-2023-crossfit-games\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">day one<\/a>, he never regained his standings on the leaderboard and a new champion was all but guaranteed from the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Women&#8217;s division, a new champion was certain to be crowned for the first time in six years, as the winningest victor in the history of the sport \u2014 <a data-lasso-id=\"311314\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/tia-clair-toomey-pregnant-2023-crossfit-games\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tia-Clair Toomey<\/a> \u2014 sat out of the 2023 competitive season to raise her first child, leaving the title undefended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2023-crossfit-games-leaderboard\">2023 CrossFit Games Leaderboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Both the <a data-lasso-id=\"313141\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/2023-crossfit-games-team-division-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Team<\/a> and Individual divisions featured a two-tier cut to pare down the finalists.&nbsp;After the workouts on Friday, August 4, only the top 30 Teams and Individual competitors continued&nbsp;on to Saturday.&nbsp;After Saturday\u2019s workouts, only the top 20 Teams, the In 2023, it makes an appearance to kickoff day two.
