On August 1, athletes in three categories \u2014 Multi Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Upper Extremity \u2014 set about competing for the title of The Fittest on Earth\u00ae in their respective divisions. After eight events spread across three days of competition, titles were retained and newly earned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a data-lasso-id=\"309440\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/casey-acree-2023-crossfit-games-adaptive-division-workout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Casey Acree<\/strong><\/a> (Upper Extremity &#8211; Men) continued a streak of event wins to capture his third title. Additional winners include: <strong>Christina Mazzullo<\/strong> (Upper Extremity \u2014 Women), <strong>Rogan Dean<\/strong> (Lower Extremity \u2014 Men), <strong>Chris Rhyme<\/strong> (Multi Extremity \u2014 Men) and <strong>Noelle Henderson<\/strong> (Multi Extremity \u2014 Women).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lower Extremity \u2014 Women saw an unprecedented result in Games history. Adaptive division criteria were re-evaluated and updated, while verification standards were designed to ensure that athletes with similar abilities were competing in appropriate divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Adaptive division formerly referred to as &#8220;<a data-lasso-id=\"309441\" href=\"https:\/\/breakingmuscle.com\/2022-crossfit-games-adaptive-division-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neuromuscular<\/a>&#8221; was renamed Multi Extremity.
